Francesca Rinaldi was born in Manfredonia and gratuated, with full marks, as an Opera Singer at the Academy of Music "U. Giordano" in Foggia. Subsequently she specialised in the study of repertoire at the "Teatro Lirico Sperimentale" of Spoleto, she attended courses at the "Teatro dell'Opera" in Rome an took a course on "vocalitā Verdiana" held by Carlo Bergonzi at Busseto.
She has won numerous lyrical contests among which "Lauri Volpi" of Latina, "Iris Adami Corradetti" of Padua, "Mascagni" of Cerignola and the 38th edition of the contest "Voci Verdiane" of Busseto.
She made her debut in 1993 as "Mimi" in Puccini's Boheme in Bari, in the same year she interpreted "Manon" by Massenet in Lecce.

At the "Teatro Lirico" of Spoleto she interpreted "Donna Elvira" in Mozart's "Don Giovanni" (1995), Puccini's "Suor Angelica" (for which she received public and critical acclaim), she performed in the Premier of "Perso per perso" by Baggiani and in "L'inganno felice" by Rossini which she also performed at the "Teatro Comunale" of Florence (1996).
In 1997 she interpreted the role the "Diva" along with Leo Nucci in the Opera "Serata di Gala al circolo lirico" and made her debut, in concert form. In the role of "Leonora" in Verdi's "Trovatore" with the "Arturo Toscanini" orchestra of Emilia Romagna.

In 1998 she interpreted the part of "Amelia" in Verdi's "Un ballo in Maschera" at the "Teatro Regio" in Parma. In the same year she achieved a personal success as "Mimi" in Puccini's "Boheme" performed durign the summer season in Lecce. She performed in an important Premier of the Opera "Le parole al Buio" by Furlani, wich inaugurated the 1998 lyrical season of the "Teatro Sperimentale" of Spoleto, and which aroused the interest of the International critic.

In the year 2000 she inaugurated the lyrical season of Lecce singing Verdi's "Messa di Requiem" subsequently she made her debut in the role of "Micaela" in Bizet's "Carmen" at the "Teatro Verdi" in Padua. She opened the lyrical season of Macerata with "Satyricon" by Maderna and the "Luglio Musicale" of Trapani interpreting role of "Desdemona" in Verdi's "Otello".
In 2001 she took part in the Verdi celbrations with the "Messa in Requiem" during the theatrical season in Malta. She sang "Tosca" in Bari and "Mimi" in Iesi. In Santa Cruz in Tenerife she sang "Amelia" in Verdi's "Un Ballo in Maschera.
In 2002 she sang the soprano part in Brochkaus' version of "Don Chisciotte".
She has worked in opera and concerts around the world with renowned artist, amougst others Giuseppe Di Stefano, Katia Ricciarelli, Giuseppe Sabatini, Piero Cappuccilli, Leo Nucci, Andrea Bocelli.
Francesca Rinaldi is a versatile singer, musically prepared and gifted with a full rich voice. She sings and interprets with great expressiveness, helped by a fascinating stage presence. She is an intelligente and intense actress.
